Photography as Place-making

My friend, Dr. Maria Fee, professor of theology and the arts, collected a few images from my ongoing series of sidewalk scenes and architectural photos taken while walking around my city of Pasadena, CA. She sees it as an expression of the artistic practice of place-making and invited me to join her in a conversation about my practice using photography as a way of paying attention to where I live.

We recorded our conversation. You can listen to it here.
